Who Am I?

Let me tell you a bit more about my story.

I was born in Salvador, in Bahia state, Brazil. A place where I was totally imbedded in the diversity created by Indigenous, Portuguese and African populations.

My mom was a teacher and my dad was an entrepreneur. They barely made money to pay the bills, but they were both very effective in making me understand the importance of education and business since I was a little girl.

I was also highly influenced by my maternal grandparents. My grandmother married my grandfather when she was 18 years old, left her job in a pharmacy and started a wonderful family, to which she fully dedicated herself. I could feel her only regret in life was that she never returned to work outside the house.

And that’s why she always told me: “Study really hard, work harder, so you can get a good job, earn your own money and never depend on any man!”

So, I became really independent and a leader of my own life very soon!

Besides of being an A student, I was a leader in my class since I was young. At the age of 11, I started to teach and with 12 years old I created my first company. I taught other kids during all my years as a teenager. It was great to make some money and have fun at the same time! I loved teaching so much that, even during my spare time, my favorite thing to do was “to play school”.

By the time that I had to decide what to study at University, I chose to study Business.

At University, I started working at AIESEC, which is the largest student-run organization in the entire world.

I heard AIESEC’s mission was related to develop leaders so they can make a difference in the world, and I thought: “What a bold statement!"

And that resonated with me because I wanted my life to be meaningful. I wanted to have a purpose in life, more than a job, more than just experiences for myself.

When I joined them, I was 18, and they asked me a question that, until today, continues to be the most important question I ever had to answer. The question was: What’s your mission? What’s your purpose in life?

When I finished university, I started to work for big organizations around the world. I could experiment different areas such as project management, finance, sales, corporate social responsibility, strategic planning and human resources.

I continue to study at the same time and specialized myself in Strategic Planning and Management Development, as well as in Leadership, Culture, Diversity and Facilitation.

For about 20 years, I have worked around the world, training and facilitating business owners and world leaders’ development in several sectors. In the past, as a Human Resources Leader, I could help thousands of people in all 5 continents to develop themselves and improve their management skills and business performances.

During my career I had the opportunity to live in countries such as South Africa, Mozambique, Australia, Spain, Estonia and Croatia, which also gave me a broader view about what diversity is, the different existing leadership styles and how can we build a better world for us to live in.

While I was working solely in the corporate world, my life seemed perfect.
Everything was very attractive: salary, benefits, opportunities, the trips around the world.

After few years, I had forgotten all about my mission and what I really wanted to do.

That’s when a friend of mine called me and said: “Hanna, I want to give you a gift.” And she gave me the best gift a friend could ever give to someone: an opportunity for me to educate myself even more. She gave me a ticket to a training program called The Millionaire Mind Intensive, from T. Harv Eker.

I went to the program and it was completely TRANSFORMATIONAL! It was the beginning of a journey back to teaching, back to entrepreneurship and balancing with my corporate experience and organizational skills.

In that program, I learnt a lot about managing my money, becoming financially free and how to challenge and change my mindset to be more successful and happier. But most importantly, that program reminded me of my MISSION and purpose in life.

I had the clarity that was my mission to inspire and empower people to be free, so they can develop their own potential, have freedom of choice, while respecting the diversity existing in the world.

And that’s what I have been doing since then, helping thousands of people around the world, in organizations and individually, to be completely FREE, emotionally, mentally and financially.

So today, I am a Trainer and Development Facilitator certified by Blair Singer Training Academy and the first and only Brazilian to be part of Success Resources global team of world class trainers. One of the things I love the most is to be serving my students, teaching people how to lead their lives and supporting T. Harv Eker’s training programs around the globe.

I am totally passionate about leadership, cultural differences, women’s empowerment, people development and education!

I also lead a non-profit project that supports children to create a better future for themselves, their families and the world, which is called The Development Village.

I am used to live my life in the highest level of energy and with a lot of passion! I also believe you are already enough and you have all resources with you to deal with the daily challenges and to live what you always dreamt of.
